Sany Europe set up an Excavator Marketing and Customer Experience Center at Putzmeister's French subsidiary and held an opening ceremony on July 4 - marking the entrance of Sany excavators into the French market.
In attendance at the ceremony were Sany Europe General Manager Deng Haijun, Putzmeister France General Manager Olivier Saint-Paulo, and Sany Europe Excavator French-Market Manager Nicolas Legros, along with other stakeholders in the French heavy machinery industry.
The product showcase at the ceremony included Sany's 1.6-ton mini excavator SY16 and its 21-ton medium excavator SY215, models that were targeted to the European and the French market.
Putzmeister (acquired by Sany in 2012) has had its French headquarters in Melun, Paris region since 2008, occupying a total land area of 20,000 m² (215,278 ft²). Putzmeister France provides after-sales services such as technical support, maintenance, and machine and accessories storage to Putzmeister's customers in France.
With its established French base and network, Putzmeister France will offer invaluable resources to the newly-established marketing and customer experience center, helping promote Sany excavators within the French market.
The new customer experience center is the second one Sany Europe has established after the 24.8-hectare industrial park in Bedburg, Germany.
Throughout this year, Sany Europe has been increasing efforts to strengthen Sany's brand in Europe. In April, it launched 11 brand-new excavators at the world's leading construction machinery trade fair - Bauma 2016 - held in Munich, Germany.
The setting up of the new excavator customer experience center in France, like the showcase at Bauma 2016, are all actions taken in Sany Europe's 2016 strategy to further penetrate the European excavator market and position Sany as a leading construction machinery brand on the continent.
