As a driving force in social progress and industrial transformation, digital twin technology is reshaping our lives at an unprecedented pace. By deeply integrating the physical and digital worlds, digital twins have revolutionized many, such as aerospace, equipment manufacturing, smart cities, and healthcare. In this era of innovation and change, digital twins not only represent the cutting edge of sci-tech advancement but also indicate the infinite possibilities of future life.
The 4th Digital Twin International Conference took place at the Bovisa Campus, Politecnico di Milano, Italy, from October 14 to 18. Over 2,000 people from 21 countries worldwide attended the conference, including renowned experts. During the conference, Mr. Qie Yongjun, deputy general manager of the SANY Group and president of Digital Twin Research Institute, delivered a speech titled “The Practice and Thinking of Digital Twin Technology in Heavy Equipment Industry”.
As the only representative of the industry, SANY Heavy Industry won the “Digital Twin Innovative Application Award” in recognition of its contributions to the Digital Twin technology development and application.
Since its establishment in 2021, SANY’s Digital Twin Research Institute has tackled more than 20 simulation technology challenges, such as structural seam weld fatigue simulation, cab thermal comfort simulation, thermal management simulation of EIC systems, vehicle rid comfort simulation, EMC simulation, and electrochemical simulation, etc. In addition, SANY published the industry’s first Simulation Technology Application Handbook and independently developed a digital twin platform software. These achievements have enabled product performance optimization and the creation of intelligent operation and maintenance solutions grounded in digital twin technology.
The establishment of the Digital Twin Research Institute marks that SANY Group has stepped into the fast lane of high technology, accelerating the empowerment of product reliability, comfort, smoothness, power economy, environmental adaptability, electromagnetic compatibility, and other types of performance comprehensively. This initiative reinforces SANY’s leadership in digital simulation and twin technology, significantly enhancing its influence in domestic and global markets.
