On July 18th, SANY concluded its three-day Africa Key Account Summit in Changsha, China, with 102 customers from 35 countries in Africa exchanging their ideas of “Trust, Cooperation and Win-win” with SANY.
Smart manufacturing for earthmoving machinery
The first stop was the Kunshan industrial park of SANY’s earthmoving machinery where the group of guests toured SANY’s global R&D center, mini excavator lighthouse factory, and intelligent workshop, experiencing the smart production. Under the guidance of the technical personnel, they witnessed the precision operation and efficient synergy of each production stage, from raw material to finished products.
Mr. Chen Jiayuan, chairman of SANY Heavy Machinery, emphasized, “We aim to have an all-around presence of our mature system and overall advantage in terms of R&D, production, and spare parts, so as to deepen our mutual trust and cooperation. We look forward to jointly promoting infrastructure construction and economic development in Africa to achieve higher social value and business benefits.”
Commitment to better products and services and pioneering sustainable development
At SANY’s Changsha industrial park, African flags erected by the roadside, and the towering booms of pump trucks were welcoming guests coming afar. There, they visited the No.18 lighthouse factory, understood the company’s development process and product lineup introduced by Mr. Xu Ming, senior vice president of the SANY group, and learned about the group’s Mining solutions, as well as the new energy layout of wind power, photovoltaic power, hydrogen energy, and energy storage, which showcased SANY’s commitment to intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development.
“With a commitment to ‘customer first’, SANY makes the service & parts system construction a top priority and creates all-around values for products and services. We’re expecting closer ties with our customers in Africa,” said Mr. Xu Ming.
The visit continued to SANY’s Silicon Energy in Zhuzhou, where guests observed the whole industrial chain from silicon wafers to photovoltaic power generation. They also visited the heavy trucks, heavy cranes, and wind turbine blades industrial park, understanding SANY's diverse strategic layout.
