Celebrating Excellence and Dedication – A Recap of SANY Day 2024

Every year, March 1 marks a deeply cherished occasion for the global SANY family, as the date “3 1” in Chinese translates to SANY, imbuing it with profound significance for the 60,000 employees worldwide. It's more than just a day on the calendar; it's a symbol of renewal and gratitude, an opportunity to extend warm greetings and heartfelt thanks to every member of our vast SANY community, as well as to their families across the globe.

 

This year, as with every year, we gathered - over 300 strong, with thousands more joining us online - to celebrate our collective achievements and set the tone for another year of growth. Our annual awards ceremony took center stage, shining a spotlight on the remarkable contributions and accomplishments of our dedicated employees.

 

But SANY Day is more than just honoring our own. It’s a chance to express our gratitude to the customers who trust in our products and solutions, the suppliers who partner with us, and the investors who believe in our vision. It’s a moment to recognize the interconnectedness of our global network and the role each stakeholder plays in our shared success.

 

At the heart of our celebration lies a commitment to excellence and innovation. As we enter the third phase of our entrepreneurial journey, our focus remains steadfast: high-quality development through continuous innovation, strategic globalization, and unwavering dedication to our customers and employees alike.

 

The awards we bestow, from the prestigious "Figure of SANY" to the coveted "Outstanding Project Achievement," serve not only to honor individual and team accomplishments but to inspire and motivate all members of the SANY family to reach for new heights.


Recognizing Exceptional Contributions

 

The ceremony honored thirty-one exceptional individuals as the “Figure of SANY”. These individuals represent various roles from R&D to marketing and overseas business development. They exemplify the spirit of SANY and serve as role models for our team.

 

Manish Patadia, Director of Financial Department at SANY India and winner of “Figure of SANY”, expressed his delight in being a part of one of the world's top construction machinery companies.

 

The recognition of being named the most prestigious title in the SANY family is beyond my wildest dreams and does not seem real. While it is supremely satisfying to be recognized by the Chairman and senior leadership of SANY, it also puts a great responsibility on my shoulders to work towards achieving our goals every single day.

Outstanding service is a commitment by SANY to its customers, which is a key competitive strength and serves as the cornerstone of our continued success. We have recognized 31 “Outstanding Service Engineers” for their exceptional dedication.

 

Leayo Wang, a senior service engineer at SANY Crane Europe, has demonstrated her dedication to customer satisfaction and the company's growth.

 

This is an honor not for me alone, but for our entire service team! During my 17 years at SANY, I have been fortunate enough to participate in and witness the rise of the crane industry. Customer-Centric Development

 

In line with our commitment to project-focused work, this year we introduced a special accolade: the “Outstanding Project Achievement”. The award is intended to recognize ten outstanding projects such as the iSany Employee Service, the Next-Gen Quay Crane Remote Control System, the Xi'an Smart Assembly Lighthouse Factory.

 

Yantao Liu, project manager of the Next-Gen Quay Crane Remote Control System, emphasized the crucial role of customer-centric development approaches.

By truly understanding our customers' needs and challenges, we have partnered with them to develop smart quay crane remote control technology that streamlines operations and enhances efficiency. Tailoring Excellence to Customer Needs

 

Top-notch products are the embodiment of SANY's core strength. We have launched the “Outstanding Product Achievement” to accelerate our innovation engine and infuse even greater dynamism into SANY's growth trajectory. Thirteen products, including the SY215 medium excavator, SY375 large excavator, and the smart roadheader, have received this accolade.

 

Huiru Cheng, product manager for the SY215 medium excavator, underscored the team's dedication to addressing customer needs and enhancing product performance.

 

Through thorough research on customer needs, overseas regulations, and operating conditions, as well as operator habits, we precisely tailored our developments. This resulted in enhancements such as increased crawler durability for Indonesia, adaptation to African gold mining in sands, and improved tunnel condition efficiency.
