The hydraulic crane, before each work shift, should test no-load lifting, rotating, luffing and security performance of the brake and limit switch. And equipment failure should be ruled out before the formal operation of hydraulic cranes. Crane driver and the signalman should reach agreement about various gestures or signal contact. However, when the lifting operation is dangerous, no matter who issues the emergency stop signal, the driver should stop immediately.
The driver, after getting the signalman lifting signals, must first make a sound signal to lift. Before lifting weights, heavy object should be hung off the ground for an examination. You can continue lifting cranes after make sure the weights hanging in prison, good braking performance and stability. While lifting heavy objects, hook wire rope should be kept vertical, it is forbidden that hook wire rope drag lifting heavy objects in the tilt state. Keep the speed of lifting and rotation stable, in order to avoid heavy swing in the air and become dangerous. Working over the machine rated lifting weight shall be strictly prohibited. When the hydraulic crane is lifting heavy objects, it can’t pass from human head over, also don't lift heavy loads for a long time to stay in the air, under special circumstances, if you need a temporary stay and make signal, notify all personnel not to stand or pass under the weight.
When the hydraulic crane is lifting metal solution and flammable, explosive, toxic substance, hazardous and dangerous goods, should develop specific safety measures, the driver should continuously make signals to inform non-essential personnel to leave the scene. The hydraulic crane should work with enough workplace and lighting equipment. The hydraulic crane should keep a safety distance from the nearby equipment and buildings, to ensure collisions at run time.
