As one of the most important exhibitions in the global renewable energy market, Husum Wind 2023 had its grand opening on September 12th in Husum, Germany. The event lasted for 4 days and caught the worldwide attention of the wind power industry. As a representative of Chinese wind turbine manufacturers, SANY Renewable Energy proudly presented itself with the theme of “Ensuring A Sustainable Future”. With the unveiling of its latest 919 wind turbine platform as well as cutting-edge technologies in intelligent manufacturing and operation & maintenance solutions, SANY RE, as a new player in the European market, received a strong response from local renewable energy developers and mainstream media in the event, successfully demonstrating its commitment to transforming global energy.
EnBW, Statkraft, WPD, PNE, Borusan, and other top European renewable energy developers all exchanged high-level mutual visits with SANY RE during the exhibition and extended high recognition to SANY’s products and technologies, demonstrating that Chinese wind turbine manufacturers will have more opportunities to help alleviate the contradiction between energy supply and demand in the European market in the future, inject more vitality and bring brand-new choices to local customers.
The official launch of the 919 wind turbine platform was set to be the “star event” of the whole exhibition for SANY RE. The 919 Platform adopts a more integrated design and products on the 919 Platform share structural components such as hub, main shaft, and front bedplate. Blades, gearboxes, and electrical systems are designed as modular systems to cover 8.5 MW to 11 MW products with rotor diameters ranging from 214 m to 230 m through different combinations, significantly enhancing the efficiency and reliability of R&D. SANY RE held the launch event of its 919 platform model at the exhibition and caught the eyes of other wind energy OEMs and the media.
Widespread reports from Recharge, Wind Power Monthly, Handelsblatt, die Welt, LEE NRW, and other mainstream press were released on SANY RE's service advantages, global business strategy, R&D strengths, delivery, and fulfilling capabilities, triggering a strong response from the global wind power industry. Claus Urbanke, Vice President of Statkraft, the largest developer in Europe’s renewable energy market, expressed that Statkraft would “certainly consider using Chinese wind turbines in Europe” after reading Recharge's in-depth interview with Deng Haijun, SANY RE’s Managing Director of Europe.
SANY RE’s presence at Husum Wind 2023 became a hot topic and is also an important step toward its globalization strategy. With years of operation in the Chinese domestic market as well as strengths of intelligent manufacturing, strong delivery, and maintenance solutions, SANY RE is determined to be a global leader in renewable energy equipment and ready to bring its successful experience to the global market, contributing to a cleaner and better world for all humankind.
