Moroccan Mainstream Media Delegation Visits SANY’s Lighthouse Factory

On the morning of 23 July, a delegation of leading Moroccan media visited SANY’s No. 18 Lighthouse Factory in Changsha to gain first-hand insight into the company’s achievements in intelligent manufacturing and learn more about its global development strategy.

The delegation comprised journalists from 9 leading Moroccan media outlets, including SNRT (National Radio and Television Company of Morocco), Maghreb Arab Press (MAP), L’Économiste, L’Opinion, Jeune Afrique, Morocco Diplomatique, as well as other major television, news agency, business and digital media organizations.

At the world-class Lighthouse Factory, the journalists witnessed SANY’s fully integrated intelligent manufacturing process—from a single steel plate entering the production line to a completed concrete pump rolling off the production line. The delegation described the visit to SANY’s Lighthouse Factory as highly impressive.

SANY’s cooperation with Morocco dates back to 2002, when two motor graders were shipped to Casablanca, marking the beginning of the company’s global journey. Over the past two decades, SANY’s business in Morocco and across North Africa has expanded from construction machinery to renewable energy equipment, microgrids and energy storage solutions, establishing a dual-engine development model integrating equipment manufacturing and green energy. Today, SANY has become one of Hunan Province’s leading enterprises driving industrial cooperation with North Africa.

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the China–Morocco Strategic Partnership. During the 2026 China–Africa Economic and Trade Expo – “Into Africa” Morocco Session, held on 10 June, the Hunan New Energy Industry Alliance for Africa was officially launched, with SANY Group appointed as the Alliance’s Chair Organization.
