Sany Excavators\' Debut at BAUMA, Ready for European High-end Market

At BAUMA 2016, Sany would launch 11 excavators, including 6 small excavators, 3 medium excavators, 1 large excavator and 1 wheel excavator. The range and quantity of excavators on exhibition will be much wider than that of any previous fairs. Mr. Yu Hongfu, Senior Vice President of Sany Group and Chairman of Sany Heavy Machinery, states that the robust presence means that Sany's excavators would enter the European high-end market in full swing.

Customized Sany Excavators for Europe

Tailored to European market, the excavators at BAUMA 2016 have met European and American emission standards and passed relevant CE Certificate of Compliance testing. They feature optimized performance, reduced fuel consumption, and less environmental impact.

Sany's newest zero-tail mini excavators, SY 16 and SY 35, are able to work in confined spaces and various working conditions. The latest 5t zero-tail hydraulic crawler excavator, wheel excavator, 7.5t and 13.5t excavator are also star products worth a visit. Statistics show that sales of Sany 7.5t excavator has been higher than other Chinese excavators of the same tonnage for five consecutive years, and that of 13.5t for three years in a row.

Sany's 21.5t and 36.5t medium crawler excavators, SY215C9C5K and SY365C9C5K, are specifically designed for European and American market. Meanwhile, SY245C9C5K hydraulic mining excavator is capable to operate in extremely tough environment.

SY500C1B5KH hydraulic mining excavator, displayed for the first time, is the highlight of Sany products at this exhibition. Dr. Cao Donghui from R&D Institute of Sany Large Excavator introduces that this flagship machine is developed by Sany Heavy Machinery together with Sany Europe. Its customized hydraulic system, arm length, bucket capacity and other functions could meet clients’ specific need and particular site requirements in Europe and North America.

Sany excavators have reached the world-class quality with the most advanced technologies. These new machines for Europe have passed numerous rigorous tests from the beginning of design to rollout, and been tried out by customers both in China and Europe for at least one year before its mass production.

Accelerated Internationalization, Sany Excavators to Enter European High-end Market

Among the global top engineering manufacturers, excavators have always enjoyed the reputation of “the pearl” of construction machinery. Mr. Yu Hongfu points out that the debut of the full range of excavators tailored to European market signifies that Sany would enter the high-end market in Europe in full swing.

After over a decade of effort, the number of Sany excavators in total has reached more than 100,000 units in China and has been No. 1 for five consecutive years. Meanwhile, Sany has sold over 10,000 excavators abroad and exported almost 100 models from 1.6t to 90t to Europe, the USA, Southeast Asia, Africa and many other countries.

Mr. Yu believes that going global is the optimum way to the sustainable development of Sany excavators. “Presence in Europe, Service for Europe” is the strategy for its excavators to grow in European market.

To achieve this goal, Sany has conducted targeted research in Europe for many years, which involves broad subjects such as market demand, customer habits and outstanding companies. Sany has also carried out trial marketing and invited clients for equipment trials in the UK, Ireland and Germany. All the customers worldwide agree that they are very impressed by the premium quality and performance of Sany excavators after using them.

Sany's development in Europe dates back to 2008 when its European headquarters was established in Germany. Since then, Sany has spread its business in 13 European countries. In addition, Sany's acquisition of Putzmeister, the leader of concrete machinery industry, and cooperation with Austrian company Palfinger in 2012 have strengthened its position and growth in Europe.

Mr. Deng Haijun, General Manager of Sany Europe points out that this year Sany Heavy Machinery and Sany Europe have deepened the cooperation and made more investment here, which would make the excavators more suitable for the local market.
