From November 15 to 18, the 2nd SANY Africa BU Premium Customer Summit was held with great enthusiasm. Over 100 customers from 35 countries including South Africa, Nigeria, Angola, and Kenya, visited seven of SANY’s factories across Kunshan, Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Ningxiang. During the event, attendees toured SANY’s advanced factories in Kunshan, Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Ningxiang, witnessing the company’s cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
Strengthening China-Africa Cooperation
On the morning of November 15, Mr. Chen Jiayuan, chairman of SANY Heavy Machinery, highlighted SANY’s contributions to African infrastructure and its dedication to fostering win-win collaborations. He emphasized SANY’s top global excavator sales since 2020 and its ongoing efforts to tailor products to the African market.
The day’s events included a thrilling live excavator demonstration, which showcased the precision and stability of SANY equipment, leaving the audience impressed.
Showcasing Green Energy Solutions
From November 17 to 18, the customers visited SANY’s key factories, including the Heavy Truck factory, SANY Silicon Energy, SANY Crane, and No.18 Factory. These visits offered an in-depth look at SANY’s unique approach to intelligent manufacturing and its impressive capabilities in producing a wide range of machinery.
The summit also highlighted SANY’s advancements in green energy. Dr. Chen Jia, deputy general manager of SANY Silicon Energy, presented the company’s innovative “Source-Grid-Load-Storage” microgrid project.
Earlier this year, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with Zambia for a solar energy initiative sparked significant interest, showcasing SANY’s role in sustainable mining and energy solutions.
Celebrating Partnership and Future Growth
The visit culminated on November 18 with the official Premium Customer Summit. Mr. Kim Li chairman of SANY Group’s International Business Division, celebrated SANY’s rapid overseas expansion, particularly in Africa, which is driving a 20% annual growth rate. He reaffirmed SANY’s commitment to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to its African partners.
Key presentations during the summit included SANY’s integrated green mining solutions and its “Source-Grid-Load-Storage” microgrid initiative, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of SANY’s low-carbon innovations and its strategic investments in new energy industries.
With a robust presence in Africa—15 subsidiaries and over 400 employees—SANY’s equipment is instrumental in key infrastructure projects across more than 50 African countries. From Sudan’s Merowe Dam to South Africa’s Kusile Power Plant, SANY is committed to deepening partnerships in manufacturing, infrastructure, and green energy, contributing to Africa’s prosperity and sustainability.
