July 10, 2026 — SANY Marine and Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) officially signed an agreement for the purchase of 26 large port machines, including six ship-to-shore (STS) cranes and 20 rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes, marking SANY Marine's largest single port equipment order in South America to date.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of HGT, and Mr. Zhou Guoyuan, Chairman of SANY Marine.

"This agreement marks an important milestone in our journey to build a world-class port," said Mr. Dheeraj Bhatia. "We are pleased to partner with SANY. Their equipment will provide a solid foundation for safe and efficient terminal operations, enabling us to better serve our customers while supporting regional economic growth."

"This partnership represents another significant achievement in SANY Marine's globalization strategy. Leveraging our technological expertise and manufacturing capabilities in port and logistics equipment, we will continue to empower our customers with high-quality products and services that enhance operational efficiency."

The 26 machines included in the agreement combine high efficiency, safety, and sustainability to meet HGT's growing cargo volumes and evolving operational needs. The project also sets a new record as SANY Marine's largest batch order in the South American market.

Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) is the terminal operating business wholly owned by Hapag-Lloyd, the world's fifth-largest liner shipping company. HGT operates terminals across five continents, supporting global trade through an extensive international network.

This landmark cooperation highlights SANY Marine’s expanding presence in the global port equipment industry and reinforces its vision of building a smarter, greener, and more connected future for ports worldwide.
