SANY Italia: A Gift of Solidarity for U.G.I. ODV

SANY renews its commitment to solidarity with a valuable contribution to U.G.I. ODV (Unione Genitori Italiani), an association dedicated to supporting children and adolescents affected by oncohematological diseases. Through this collaboration, we had the opportunity to support the creation of a new rehabilitation gym at the UGICARE center, a project of extraordinary importance aimed at improving the care and rehabilitation journey for young patients.

The gym, now completed and set to become operational shortly, is designed to meet the needs of children undergoing treatment, offering them a welcoming and functional environment.

SANY Italia’s Contribution

Our support took shape through the funding of two specialized study rooms: one dedicated to Speech Therapy and Orthoptics professionals and another to Neuropsychology. These spaces will be fundamental in providing increasingly targeted and high-quality assistance to the children and adolescents assisted by U.G.I.

Additionally, we aimed to enhance the comfort of those working tirelessly every day by furnishing the operators’ break area. To make the environment even more inclusive and engaging, SANY Italia also donated two model machines – one remote-controlled and one traditional – to be included in the gym’s play area. These models will not only bring joy to young patients but can also be used in educational activities, integrating seamlessly into the rehabilitation process.

An Event of Sharing and Gratitude

Our commitment was celebrated in recent weeks with a special event held at the gym, attended by SANY Italia representatives – Guido Peveri, Leo Zhang, and Letizia Reynaud – along with U.G.I. members and professionals from the center.

On this occasion, a symbolic virtual check was presented to Emma Sarlo Postiglione, Secretary General of U.G.I., and Dr. Lucia Longo, Neuro and Psychomotricity Therapist for Developmental Age at UGICARE.

The event also included a guided tour of the new gym, allowing attendees to see firsthand the work accomplished and the positive impact these spaces will have on the lives of young patients and their families.

A Christmas of Solidarity

This Christmas, SANY Italia continues its support for U.G.I. ODV. Anyone can contribute through the association’s online site www.ugi-torino.it, which offers a variety of charitable initiatives and products.

Among these is the U.G.I. Christmas Market in Turin, where visitors can find many solidarity gifts, including SANY model replicas donated by SANY Italia as a sign of support for the cause.
