SANY Showcased at China-Africa Economic & Trade Expo 2024
On 11th May, the first stop of the China-Africa Economic & Trade Expo in Africa Exhibition 2024 was successfully concluded in Nairobi, Kenya. SANY participated in the exhibition for the fourth year in succession. During the three-day event, SANY launched 4 flagship products and received 88 batches of customers, achieving a turnover of about RMB 20 million (US$ 2.86 million).
With the theme of “Join hands for a better future”, the China-Africa Economic & Trade Expo is held in Africa in May and September in Kenya and Nigeria, respectively, inspiring new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa. At the first stop in Kenya, SANY exhibited four star products, namely the SY335C medium excavator, STC500C5 truck crane, SW936K wheel loader, and SSR200C-8H single drum roller.
l SY335C medium excavator, with an operating weight of 34.3 tons, bucket capacity of 1.5 m³, and engine power of 190.5 kW, features a super long service life, intelligent operation interface, and low fuel consumption.
l STC500C5 truck crane, with max. lifting capacity of 50 tons, max. lifting height of 60.5 m and max. boom length of 44 m, is equipped with smart hydraulics and high-performance chassis, which is verified by 200,000 cycling fatigue tests to ensure high reliability.
l SW936K wheel loader, with an operating weight of 11 tons and a bucket capacity of 2 m3, is built for better fuel efficiency by utilizing a better hydraulic system. Equipped with a roomy cab with better AC performance, the machine also provides a safe and comfortable working environment for operators.
l SSR200C-8H single drum roller, with an operating weight of 20 tons and rated power of 147 kW, boasts high efficiency, extended service life, and a comfortable and safe operator working environment.
The friendship between SANY and Africa has a long history back to 2002 when SANY exported a grader, also its first export product, to Morocco. After many years of exploration in the African market, SANY’s equipment now has been exported to more than 50 countries and regions in Africa and has been adopted in almost all major projects in Africa, witnessing the growth of the African continent. At present, SANY takes the African market as an important pillar in its globalization strategy. It has established 15 subsidiaries in Africa, with more than 200 employees. Looking ahead, SANY remains committed to extending its presence in Africa and fostering even stronger ties with its partners across the continent.
