Recently, SANY Marine successfully delivered a batch of SM4602T0BEV electric terminal tractors to a customer in Thailand. These “green powerhouses” have already been put into operation at the port, delivering outstanding efficiency and reliability while enabling 24/7 uninterrupted operations.

Fast Battery Swapping, Zero Downtime

The SM4602T0BEV is equipped with a rapid battery swapping system. Each swap takes less than 5 minutes—and can be completed in under 2 minutes at best. With no need for long charging times, the fleet can operate around the clock, eliminating idle time and significantly boosting port efficiency.

Strong Endurance, Proven Performance

Powered by a 282 kWh battery pack, the vehicle achieves a range of over 120 km even with air conditioning in operation. Built for real-world conditions, it performs reliably in high temperatures and supports both high-frequency short-haul and long-distance transport. With a maximum traction capacity of 75 tons, it is perfectly suited for heavy-duty port operations.

Efficient, Energy-Saving, and Comfortable

The single-motor direct-drive system ensures high efficiency while reducing maintenance costs. The cabin features air suspension and an air-suspended seat, effectively minimizing road impact, greatly enhancing driver comfort during long shifts and improving both safety and overall experience.
