Service Star of September --Rain or Shine, the Mission Remains: SANY’s Global Guardians
10/10/2025

Across the world, there is a group of SANY people who stand firm in storms and press forward through gales, bringing the spirit of “No More Waiting” to life. Whether in the mines of Vietnam, the ports of Norway, or construction sites in Africa, they all share the same belief: “Come rain or shine, wherever the customer is, service will follow.”

Vietnam · Hung Dao Nguyen: Proactive Guardianship

At 26, Hung Dao Nguyen is a young and highly responsible engineer at SANY Vietnam. Based in the highland mines of Cam Pha City, he is responsible for the technical support, maintenance, and servicing for 13 large mining machines—5 SKT130S and 8 SRT95C—on his own. Joined SANY in 2021, his professionalism and efficiency have earned him complete trust from customers in these years.

On July 22, a Typhoon hit northern Vietnam, with Quang Ninh Province among the hardest hit. Torrential rains caused standing water and brought operations to a halt. After receiving the notice of the mine was about to resume operations, Nguyen immediately rushed to the site. Despite muddy terrain and intermittent rain, he inspected each machine carefully, identified multiple hidden issues with the chassis and fuel tanks, and completed preventive maintenance ahead of schedule—buying valuable time for the mines to resume operations.

On August 13, SANY, in partnership with potential dealer VITRAC, officially delivered 12 SKT160V wide-body trucks to two key customers in Quang Ninh. To ensure the smooth delivery, Nguyen was involved throughout the process—assembly, registration, and inspection. On the delivery day, Nguyen braved heavy rain and mud, staying on site to coordinate every step and ensure the delivery was completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

This milestone not only marked another achievement for SANY’s new-energy mining trucks in Vietnam but also reaffirmed the trust customers place in SANY’s service. Behind it all was Nguyen’s tireless dedication—working late into the night and staying on standby at all times—exemplifying SANY’s professionalism, initiative, and commitment on the global frontline.

Norway · Borja Cuellar: Rising Above the Storm

In July, along Norway’s rainy coast, Green Yard approached SANY Europe with an urgent request: to fully modify an SCC3200T crawler crane within five days. Faced with tight deadlines and harsh conditions, Borja Cuellar and his team responded immediately.

At Randa Berg Port, Borja Cuellar worked alongside Norwegian partner Seabrokers, using a “zero-interruption disassembly” method. Within eight hours, he completed the main boom removal and equipment separation without affecting the ongoing operations.

Next, at Færder Port, relentless rain and strong winds made work even more challenging. With visibility under fifty meters, the team efficiently installed a 39-meter main boom, assembled a 24-meter luffing jib and 2-meter extension, and synchronized the main and auxiliary hooks.

The Green Yard project manager commented: “No matter how bad the weather, they complete the task on time—that’s why we choose SANY.”

When the customer requested last-minute adjustments, Borja Cuellar, together with the technical lead Carlos Müller, innovated a modular pre-installation solution, compressing a planned 48-hour process into just 5 hours. Final load tests exceeded industry precision benchmarks by 23%.

Over the 120-hour project, SANY demonstrated exceptional execution and expertise in the European market— a promise delivered on time, even in the storm.

Nigeria · Moses Uche Ogbuehi: Standing Strong in the Rain

On the morning of September 8, 2025, a Nigerian customer urgently requested maintenance for a rotary drilling rig. Moses Uche Ogbuehi and his colleague immediately went to the site.

While disassembling the diesel filter, a heavy downpour hit, soaking the work area. Since the machine was required to operate the next day, they decided to work in the rain. For over three hours, they labored through the mud under umbrellas and finally completed maintenance on schedule. The customer was impressed: “Your SANY service engineers are truly excellent.” Moses replied: “The customer’s needs are our mission!”

Since joining SANY in 2023, Moses has been rooted at the frontlines. From hydraulic failures and engine overheating to complex electronic troubleshooting, he has gained experience rapidly. On one occasion, after an urgent equipment shutdown, he worked overnight and restored operations in six hours. The customer expressed their gratitude: “Thank you for giving our mine a new breath of life.”

From the mines of Vietnam to the ports of Norway, from construction sites in Nigeria to customers worldwide, SANY service engineers demonstrate professionalism and rapid response, fulfilling the “No More Waiting” promise. Rain or shine, nothing stops their steps. No challenge shakes SANY’s commitment to customers. We are always by customers’ side, ensuring smooth operations every time.
