SANY SCC4000E crawler crane used to extract 120 ton piles

In May 2012, SANY SCC4000E crawler crane was used at 486 jobsite in the east coast of Singapore, where a tunnel was under construction for Singapore’s island expressway project.

The project was contracted by Yongnam, which is a leading Singapore based company providing multi-discipline engineering and construction services with more than 30 years’ experience. It mainly operates in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong, enjoying a reputation for providing innovative and practical solutions.

This crawler crane was mainly used to extract the protection hollow piles along the sides of the tunnel. Each hollow pile is 60 meters long and weighing up to 120 ton. The angle of the main jib ranges from 70 to 82 with the operation radius from 7 to 10 meters. This SANY crawler crane always run in stable operation and won the recognition of the Yongnam.

This SCC4000E crawler crane was the twenty-sixth machines Yongnam has bought from SANY, which was also one of the largest tonnage crawler cranes in Singapore. Until now, more than 100 units of crawler cranes have been used in Singapore, ranking the first in Singapore market.

The maximum rated lifting capacity of SANY SCC4000E crawler is 400t. The boom maximum lifting moment is 2090t·m with the boom length ranging from 24 to 84 meters. The superior performance is suitable for various operating conditions. The advanced safety control system ensures the stable operation of the crawler crane.
