SANY STS Shipped to Bangkok Port
On February26, 2018, 2 units of STS manufactured by Sany Marine Heavy Industry Co., Ltd departed from Sany Terminal to Bangkok Port.
The two units of STS were customized for Port Authority Thailand. It adopts the single box boom structure with simplified wire rope system and energy recycling system. The power factor is as high as 0.95. The machine is characterized with its low weight and high efficiency, what’s more, the cost of future operation and maintenance is comparatively low.
Port Authority Thailand is the largest port management organization that operates the main terminals in Thailand. The 2 units of STS will enhance the container handling capacity for Bangkok Port. Sany improved its large port machinery business in recent years with orders from more than 20 countries such as America, Korea, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Turkey etc. The equipment are delivered successfully and the customers are satisfied with the products for their quality and stability.
The delivery signifies that Sany steps further towards mainstream Southeast Asia terminals, it also marks a firm footprint in its progress of internalization.
