On August 19, 2025, the inauguration ceremony for SANY Group’s new Guangzhou Office was successfully held under the theme “100 Billion Overseas, Setting Sail from Guangzhou”. Home to SANY’s four overseas business departments, the inauguration represents a new start in SANY’s overseas business.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Allen Liang, Rotating Chairman of SANY Group; Mr. Peng Song, Director of the Overseas Business Headquarters & Director of the Strategic Management Office; Ms. Zhong Weihua, General Manager of the Zhushengyuan Division; Mr. Kim Li, Chairman of the Overseas Direct Operation Division; Mt. Justin Ding, Deputy Director of the Overseas Business Headquarters; Ms. Yuan Chunyan, Director of the Business Headquarters; Mr. Zhang Mingquan, Human Resources Director; Mr. Xu Guoqiang, Executive Deputy Director of the Process Informatization Headquarters; Ms. Ouyang Yan, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Spare Parts Division; Mr. Lin Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Strategic Management Office; and the core management team of the Group's overseas business.
The event opened with a spectacular lion dance performance by robotic dogs, blending traditional culture with cutting-edge technology. Mr. Allen Liang and Mr. Peng Song performed the symbolic eye-dotting ritual, which brought the “lions” to life—a gesture representing good fortune and vitality. This creative fusion highlighted the festive atmosphere and the modern, international character of Guangzhou.
The ceremony also featured a retrospective video showcasing the relocation journey to Guangzhou, capturing the memorable moments filled with dedication and perseverance. Ms. Pu Li, Deputy Head of the Platform Management Department of IOHQ, delivered a speech as a representative, sharing expectations for the new office and its future prospects.
In his keynote address, Mr. Peng Song emphasized Guangzhou’s strategic significance:
“As a commercial capital with a thousand-year history, Guangzhou has long been a gateway for China’s openness to the world. Today, it stands as a core hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and a vital link in the Belt and Road Initiative. Its proximity to customers and talent, along with the Lingnan spirit of openness and inclusiveness, will inspire our team to uphold professionalism, embrace innovation, shoulder responsibility, and seize new opportunities amid change.”
Mr. Allen Liang expressed heartfelt gratitude to employees who relocated to Guangzhou with their families, acknowledging their commitment and contributions. He reviewed the remarkable progress in overseas business development and system building, and shared the design concept of the Guangzhou headquarters:
“Steel + Concrete + Technology”—a tribute to industrial heritage and a vision of the future, embodied in features like the Hall of Fame and Binary Inscriptions. He encouraged the team to pursue the guiding principles “Human beings are great because of dreams” and “Technology serves people,” and to strive for new breakthroughs on this new stage, in this new environment, as part of the journey toward the 100-billion overseas goal.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo, marking the successful launch of the Guangzhou office. This new hub will provide robust support for SANY’s overseas operations, driving steady progress toward the company’s ambitious “100 Billion Overseas” vision.
