At over 828 meters and more than 160 stories, Burj Khalifa is known as the tallest building in the world and a work of architectural art. 4 units of SANY 42m and 37m pump trucks took part in the construction. Over 45,000 m3 of concrete, weighing more than 110,000 tonnes, were used to construct the concrete and steel foundation, which features 192 piles buried more than 50 m deep.
SANY pump truck is engineered for superior productivity and fuel efficiency, hence won the favor of the user Unimix, who commented:”SANY equipment made great contribution to the world's historic height. They cast a strong and solid foundation for the tallest tower on the earth. They should be proud of being part of the project and they definitely deserve the honor”.
SANY pump trucks adopt one button stabilization, boom anti-vibration, and anti-swing control technologies which decrease the boom’s vibration and rotary swing amplitude by 50% and achieve precise positioning of the terminal hose.
Low fuel consumption
The reversing times hits 29times/minute when the system pressure is 12MPa. The pumping efficiency increases by 25% and fuel consumption decreases by 10%.
High wear-resisting parts greatly improve the the pump trucks’ performance and create more values for customers. The delivery pipe’s straight tube, hinged elbow and large elbow all use the double-layer compound structure. The inner layer is extremely wear resistant, with service lifting reaching 50,000m3. The pump trucks’ discharge port also adopts the double-layer compound structure and its inner busing is made of special steel with wear resistance 15 times higher than ordinary steel, increasing the service life up to 60,000 to 80,000 m3.
