SANY's First Monocrystalline Silicon Rod is Rolled off the Assembly Line
On October 6th, the first monocrystalline silicon rod from SANY Silicon Energy Co., Ltd. in Shuozhou was successfully produced, marking the project’s official put into operation and injecting strong power into the future industrial-scale deployment.
The silicon rod, which is about 5.5 meters long and weighs about 650 kilograms, is officially rolled off the assembly line after over 60 hours of process, including high-temperature impurities removal, and process debugging. The N-type 10-inch monocrystalline silicon rod will be primarily used for the production of large-sized, high-efficiency solar photovoltaic cells. The production of the first monocrystalline silicon rod lays a solid foundation for manufacturing high-quality products with low oxygen and low carbon content.
Upon full completion and production, the project is expected to realize an annual operating revenue of over 2 billion yuan, contribute over 300 million yuan in annual tax revenue, and provide nearly a thousand jobs. The project is essential for further modifying the industrial structure and promoting the sound development of the photovoltaic industry.
