Sany customizes a SCC10000 crawler crane for wind turbine lifting

Sany SCC10000 crawler crane is a customized machine designed and developed for wind turbine lifting according to the demands of our customer in May, 2016.

After using several Sany crawler cranes of SCC5000A, SCC6500E in his projects, this customer decided to purchase another crane from Sany for a wind farm projects in northern Jiangsu province and central China, “Sany cranes are very reliable, easy to operate and maintain, having great lifting capacity and less failure during operation,” this customer said.

Sany SCC10000 crawler crane, introduced by engineer of Zhengjiang Sany Equipment Research Institute, is tailor-made to suit the wind turbine lifting work in northern Jiangsu province and central China. Sany R&D team makes a bold try to innovatively adopt a combination mode of multiple variable diameters in the hybrid boom arm manufacturing so that the maximum lifting height and lifting capacity of SCC10000 crawler crane could reach over 125 meters and 100 tons respectively even without the superlift, which can better satisfy the customer’s needs in wind turbine lifting.

In addition, Sany SCC10000 crawler crane can be transported from one site to another as a whole machine, which can increase the efficiency by 50% compared to other crawler cranes with superlift. The high intelligent technology of SCC10000 crawler crane can also realize automatic detection to prevent the crane and operator from dangerous operation, and remote vision or upgrade to better solve the on-site problems.
