Mission to a Conflict Zone: Tang Zheng & Gao Guoshuai in Afghanistan
An Afghanistan customer had purchased 8 machines (4 reach stackers, 3 truck cranes, and 1 mobile crane) from SANY. However, local conflict and severe safety concerns made on-site installation and training challenging. Responding quickly to the customer’s request, SANY Uzbekistan dispatched the two service engineers, Tang Zheng and Gao Guoshuai, to carry out the task.
The 8 machines were scattered across multiple border customs sites, each over 700 km apart. In the face of instability and danger, SANY has equipped the team with armed security, even so, the service team was stopped and questioned by unidentified armed groups several times. To meet the tight deadline, in these days, Tang and Gao often drove until 2:00 AM and set off again by 5:00 AM. They battled severe sandstorms, near-zero visibility, and long stretches of uninhabited terrain without signal or GPS. One night, they were stranded in a desert for two hours before finding their way out. Despite these challenges, the engineers covered nearly 10,000 km in just two weeks, successfully installing all equipment and completing user training.

Long-Term Dedication in the Mines: Zhou Wei in Guyana
In the mining operations of Bosai Group in Guyana, South America, 47 SANY SRT95C trucks have been running reliably for nearly two years under the safeguarding of SANY’s on-site service engineers, Zhou Wei is one of them.
With over a decade of maintenance experience, Zhou is seen by both customers and colleagues as a dependable, skilled veteran. To ensure uptime, he once worked 16 consecutive months without taking a break.
One day, a transmission shaft failure halted a truck in the middle of the dumping area. If not fixed immediately, it would affect more than ten machines. Without hesitation, Zhou led the team to the site.
“After all these years, I know exactly how these machines behave,” he said confidently. By noon, under extreme pressure, Zhou and his team completed the repair just before the operation area was sealed off. Shortly after lunch, he went to fix another engine issue, racing against time.
Zhou’s dedication reflects the daily reality of SANY service teams around the world, where reliability is not just a promise but a proven, measurable customer experience.
Emergency Response at Night: Mahmoud Mostafa in the Middle East
In the Middle East, due to operator error, a newly delivered SANY truck suddenly failed during a night shift, resulting in the customer facing a serious halt in production.
Service engineer Mahmoud arrived on site first time after receiving the call. He diagnosed a broken front axle knuckle and immediately coordinated the delivery of SANY parts. Working efficiently in the customer’s workshop, he replaced the part without removing the axle, quickly restoring the truck to operation.
His swift action prevented further losses and ensured the customer's project remained on schedule.
“This wasn’t just a fix—it set a new benchmark for how fast and professional service can be,” said the site manager.
