On May 27, the first shipment of two dual-trolley auto-STS cranes for PSA set sail.
The project signed seven dual-trolley STS cranes in total. They are equipped with a spreader rated for 65 tons and feature a rail gauge of 35 meters, a front outreach of 73 meters, and a back reach of 22 meters. The hoisting height is 55 meters above rail level and 23 meters below. The trolley travels on the gantry is 26.5 meters on the seaside and 26.7 meters on the landside.
With the through-type structure design and automation control, this equipment features the coordination between the main trolley and the gantry trolley. Over 10 high-precision scanners and more than 50 HD cameras build a 3D perception network, enabling precise container positioning and intelligent handling. At the same time, the smart control system can calculate the optimal trolley movement path, greatly improving operational efficiency.
Meanwhile, 10 RGTs are dispatched to the customer’s wharf simultaneously with a rated lifting capacity of 41 tons, a span of 23.37 meters, and a lifting height of 18.2 meters.
SANY Marine now owns an equipment assembly base of 500,000 square meters, which can accommodate 24 STS cranes and 40 RTG cranes assembly and commissioning simultaneously, achieving highly efficient delivery.
