June 28, 2016, SANY Marine Heavy Industry launched China's first 100-ton port jib crane, marking high-level innovation and a breakthrough in port machinery manufacturing.
The crane has gone through rigorous testing and has since displayed top-grade performance, offering maximum efficiency and flexibility on heavy-load hoisting operations done at Jiujiang Port Bridge.
The port equipment boasts the highest jib-crane specs in China, with a maximum hoisting capacity up to 105 tons and a maximum working radius of 48 meters (147 feet). It was designed with a number of SANY's patented technologies and leads globally in many performance indexes.
Full automatic tracking for spreader slewing, grab track recording, over hoisting prevention for hook and speed protection for hoisting mechanism guarantee the high efficiency and reliability of the port jib crane. In addition, active inverter technology is applied to transfer the stored dynamic power and potential power into electricity and be recycled to the grid. Moreover, it can resist the pollution to grid from higher harmonic voltage, thus increasing the power factor of the equipment and saving energy consumption.
