Preparations for Truck Crane Startup

Generally speaking, truck crane is a very essential piece of heavy equipment for all types of industries. It is hard to imagine how anything could get built without the aid of truck cranes. Starup is the first step of machine operation, and before the actual startup, some preparations is necessary. Here we would like to share some tips about truck crane startup preparation with you. 

1. Check the air pressure in tyres, and inspect whether the tyres are damaged. 

2. Perform the strict check around the whole truck crane to see whether the leakage appears. 

3. Check whether the cooling water, oil and fuel for engine are sufficient. 

4. Eliminate the residual water from the air reservoir. 

5. Check whether the terminal posts of storage battery are reliable and firm and whether the level of electrolyte meets the regulation. 

6. Check whether the instruments, switches, lamps, signal indicators and windscreen wipers of the crane work normally. 

7. Check whether the parts of steering and braking systems are normal, safe and reliable and whether liquid levels in steering oil tank and liquid cup of clutch are normal.

8. Check whether the transmission shaft bolts, U-bolts, hub bolts and wheel nuts are strictly tightened, damaged or ruptured. 

9. Check the maintenance indicator for air filter. If the crane indicator displays in fully red, you shall clean or replace the filter core. Also, the user shall frequently eliminate the dust from the dust collection disk (at the bottom of air filter). 

10. Drain away the water from the bottom of fuel filter.
