SANY truck cranes used to hoist prefabricated slab in Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu city

In 2012, SANY truck cranes won the bid to take part in the King’s guard defense area construction in Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu city. The project was contracted by Saudi Arabia’s largest engineering construction company Binladin Group. This multinational construction conglomerate has significant influence on the Arab world, which almost participated in every important construction project in the Middle East.

The King’s guard defense area project was a big project, which included the construction of petroleum refinery factory, power station, office building, 600 apartments and relevant ground. Three types of SANY truck cranes had been used in the construction, including STC250、STC500 and STC750.

The major construction difficulties were the hot, windy and dusty weather and the soft terrain.
