As the African Mining Indaba celebrated its 30th anniversary on February 5-8 in South Africa, SANY has paid its tribute to the expo with 22 years of providing innovative and sustainable one-stop mining solutions to Africa. The SANY team was thrilled to have met and had engaging conversations with the valuable visitors and media during the event.
"It is our second time participating in the Mining Indaba. Since our debut in 2023, SANY has made significant strides in clean energy mining equipment, based on uncompromising robust performance and high quality. This year we tripled our stand size, and our local team is excited to showcase our achievements to the market and to explore further possibilities with our partners in this passionate land", said Samuel Zhang, Country General Manager of SANY Int’l South Africa, to an on-site media press.
SANY has been revolutionizing the mining industry in Africa with its top-of-the-line excavation, loading, and hauling equipment. Its unwavering commitment to high quality, sustainability, and efficiency has made it a trusted partner for open-cast mines across the continent. With a 20,000m2 distribution center for spare parts coming into service, The company's spare parts local inventory has enlarged by 60% to R270 million, which has been proven to secure fast delivery and reduce equipment downtime. Further, SANY Southern Africa headquarters broke ground at the end of last year, which will be a regional manufacturing and logistics center with an annual production capacity of over 3,000 machines. SANY is confident it will create greater value for the customers and empower the local community.
For this exhibition, SANY explained the full range of mining equipment of wide-body trucks, excavators, front-end loaders, backhoe loaders, and graders to the whole value chain providers and customers. “From SANY, we’ve purchased front-end loaders, quite a number of them. When we purchased the first one, which was only test basis, we were very impressed with the way it was performing. I must say that compared to the traditional suppliers that we’ve been using, we were surprised at the customer service, after-sales service, and all the engagement that we have from SANY. The support is amazing. Every time we need to service the machines, parts are always available, which is a pleasant surprise, because we can’t afford any downtime. SANY is really outperforming others in this field,” an African mining customer said to the SANY team at the stand.
As a gesture of appreciation to attendees, the SANY team handed over six remote-controlled excavator models to lucky winners and distributed custom-made souvenirs. SANY remains steadfast in its strive to deliver greater value for the sustainable world of African mining, eagerly anticipating the next Mining Indaba.
