THINK BIG! An Initiative to Inspire Young People\'s Interest in Construction Machinery

As one of the largest equipment manufacturers in the world, Sany launched 15 brand new models and 22 components during Bauma 2016, the 31st edition of the World's Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment. However, at this world's largest construction equipment trade fair, Sany aims to not only strengthen its presence in the high-end market but learn from the best in the industry.

Advanced technologies, profound insights, industry trend and analysis shared during Bauma are of vital importance to the future development of Sany, meanwhile, THINK BIG, a youth talent initiative of Bauma draws Sany's attention too. Over 12,000 schoolchildren from 230 schools in Hall B0 make themselves stand out against the huge number of exhibitors and visitors, which is uplifting to see so many young people show their interest in construction equipment industry.

In China, Sany built its own vocational school in 2010, providing skill training to those young people who would like to pursue a career in the construction equipment industry. Nevertheless, well-designed project geared at boosting the enthusiasm and passion for engineering technology in young people of all grade levels are rarely seen so far. Therefore, Sany finds this THINK BIG project very instructive and entertaining.

THINK BIG is an initiative launched at Bauma 2013 by the German Engineering Federation VDMA in cooperation with Messe München, one of the world's leading trade-show companies, aiming to inspire young people's interest in technology and the construction equipment industry. A dozen of renowned companies and educational institutes offer activities for young people to learn more about technical training studies and career opportunities in the construction equipment industry, and Putzmeister-Sany is one of the companies. More benefits would be made should Sany introduce such a meaningful project to China.
