SANY reach stackers improve port operation in Vanuatu
Oct 25, 2016, 4 units of SANY reach stackers were delivered to Port Vila, Vanuatu. It was a big event in the South Pacific Ocean nation and attracted attention of the local media and residents.
This deal was closed through SANY’s online-offline (O2O) platform, an innovative business model of the company in 2016. In Aug last year, SANY O2O division received the inquiry about reach stackers for Vanuatu and immediately transferred it to Wang Yong, the sales rep in SANY’s branch office in Australia. After visiting the customers for many times, Wang had a thorough understanding of their demand about the technical parameters and prepared a competitive bid document. He also fond the dealer Portstar in New Zealand that could provide after-sales service in Vanuatu.
SANY reach stackers have proved that the customers have made the right decision. They have been working efficiently and reliably, dramatically improving the operation and containers loading and unloading efficiency of Port Vila. The customers are also very satisfied with the port equipment’s performance.
The successful deal of 4 reach stackers marks a major step forward for SANY to expand in the island countries in South Pacific. From here, SANY could also cover the neighboring markets, such as Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
