Largest port machinery contractor in Middle East looks forward to brighter cooperation with SANY

“Once we have an issue, the mast is cracked, but SANY, as usual, provides very good support and gives the mast for free. They also sent us two engineers to live in Saudi Arabia to provide timely support. What’s more, SANY’s machine generates the lowest cost per hour.” Mobeen Khawaja, Business Development Manager of Globe Motor said at SANY First Global Summit on Nov 21.

Globe Motor is the largest dealer for SANY Port Machinery in Middle East and even in the world with totally 125 units of port machines being sold in Saudi Arabia, which accounts for than more than 50% of Saudi Arabia’s market shares.

In August of 2016, SANY and Globe Motor were awarded the contract of supplying 31 units of mobile port machines, valuing at almost US $7.5 million, in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia’s Dammam King Abdullahaziz Port, marking the biggest mobile port machinery order in history.

During the summit, Mobeen Khawaja shared the company’s successful experience with the gatherings. He summarized that the remarkable achievement is gained by SANY’s reliable and energy saving products and both SANY and Globe Motor’s considerate service. Globe Motor is very satisfied with the quality of SANY's products and its after-sales service, since SANY is willing to provide 24 hours and 7 days’ service and free training for operators.

Globe Motor’s initial contact with SANY traces back to 2010 when many brands in Globe Motor could not provide good after-sale service. So it decided to choose SANY, which was a new brand in Saudi Arabia at that time. In June of 2011, dealer agreement was signed between SANY and Globe Motor.

Currently, Mobeen Khawaja is very interested in renewable energy, because the future is renewable energy. The good cooperation with SANY strengthens Mobeen Khawaja's confidence on SANY that he wants to seek further cooperation with SANY in solar energy and wind power energy.
