Chinese Officials Visit Sany Europe Industrial Park
A delegation led by Wang Qinmin, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited Sany's European industrial park in Bedburg, Germany, on June 4.
The delegation was welcomed by Sany Heavy Industry Chairman Liang Wengen and Sany Europe General Manager Deng Haijun.
Liang spoke to the group about Sany's development history and its overseas investment, including the major 2012 acquisition of German concrete machinery manufacturer, Putzmeister. He further went on to outline Sany's business operation in Europe.
Wang Qinmin remarked on Sany's overseas efforts and noted that as one of the first private Chinese enterprises to embark on operations abroad, Sany has gained a wealth of knowledge in foreign markets and international mergers and acquisitions.
To date, Sany has built four Research and Development centers and manufacturing bases in the US, India, Germany and Brazil, with business covering over 120 countries and regions. The company looks to expand its presence in all major international markets and has increased investments in emerging markets such as South America, the Middle East and Africa.
