Joining Zimbabwe's National Cleaning Campaign to Support Environmental Sustainability

In support of Zimbabwe's initiative for a cleaner and safer environment, the SANY Zimbabwe team, in collaboration with the Environmental Management Agency of Zimbabwe (EMA), proudly participated in the national cleaning campaign on August 2nd, 2024.

Led by First Lady Amai Auxilia Mnangagwa, this event aligns with President Mnangagwa's directive to dedicate the first Friday of each month to environmental cleaning, emphasizing the importance of the 3Rs principle: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

The SANY community, along with many Zimbabweans, came together to make a difference in Harare City Center. In addition to the cleanup efforts, the SANY team also distributed essential supplies including masks, water, and gloves to support volunteers participating in the campaign.

At SANY, we believe that every small effort counts, whether it’s a day of cleaning or ongoing environmental initiatives, plays a crucial role in fostering a cleaner and safer environment. Looking ahead, we are committed to participating in and conducting future activities that align with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
