The Russian Gazprom purchased four Sany SR150C rotary drilling rigs through Sany's dealer Rustechcenter Co., Ltd for the Yamal petroleum & gas project from last December to March.
The reason why we chose Sany is because Sany enjoys a high market share in Yamal region and the perfect after-sales services provided by Sany, said a person in charge with Russian Gazprom.
The Russia Rosneft Oil had purchased over twenty Sany rotary drilling rigs in 2013 for the Yamal natural gas project which is the biggest in the arctic region, with Russian, French and Chinese companies involved in it. The SR150C rotary drilling rig is also among the construction equipments.
SR150C rotary drilling rig is powerful mainly used in pile foundation of civil engineering. The chassis equipped with Kawasaki load control system is highly efficient and energy saving, increasing the effective construction efficiency by 10 percent compared to that of competitors. In light weight, it can be transported as a whole which greatly facilitates its assembly and disassembly.
Yamal Peninsula is located within the Arctic Circle with severe cold weather and harsh environment, posing great challenges for cold-proof system of equipment. Sany's twenty rotary drilling rigs including SR150C operated well even at minus 50 degrees centigrade. The high operation efficiency and winter-proofing performance were highly praised by the customer and help Sany open up a large market in Yamal region.
In addition, dealers and after-sales service engineers in Sany Russia Business Unit provided timely after-sale services for our customers even in the difficult natural conditions, which enables the construction to go on smoothly without stop.
